An ATM at the Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid dispenses gold for cash currency.   A similar machine was installed at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi earlier this year.   We’ll  get nervous about our precious metal positions when we see these in WalMart.  Let us pray that the next step in this story is a giant leap we never have to experience.  That is, the day Gold becomes more than just a store of value, but also a de facto medium of exchange.
