Nikkei Ugly

Seems like yesterday that everyone wanted to emulate the Japanese.

The Nikkei stock index is down 78 percent a little more than 22 years after its peak at the end of 989.   Imagine the U.S. equivalent –  the S&P500 at 343.61 in 2029.

What an incredible to testament to the civility of the Japanese people.  Hard to imagine peace in the street in the U.S. in similar circumstances.
