Great shot (magnified 22x) of a wood ant holding a microchip in its teeth.  This picture symbolizes, at least to us, the recipe for the “Wealth of Nations:”  1) the work ethic of the ant;  2) the technology of the microchip.

    E.O. Wilson would be proud. Adam Smith would approve of the modern pin factory. Let’s hope the modern wealth of nations can emerge to pull us out of this slump before the money factory turns us all into drones, stingless bees without honey.
