Rare Earth Day 2.0

Take a look at Rare Earth (not the band) today.  Lots of market buzz as Molycorp (MCP) up over 10 percent and Rare Earth Elements (REE) up over 22 percent.  Recall our take on the Rare Earth trade as “gold on steroids,”

Scarce commodities, which have no substitutes and critical for industry and national security?   Sounds like “Gold on Steroids” to us.  We wouldn’t bet the ranch, but don’t want to miss what could be a nice run as the market begins to focus.

The market is starting to focus.
